Nickell Moulding Donates to America's VetDogs in 2014

Nov 05, 2013

A note from our president regarding Nickell Moulding’s donation of choice for our 2014 House Stock box program:

Nickell Moulding’s donation of choice for our 2014 House Stock box program is America’s VetDogs. America’s VetDogs is a not-for-profit organization, which relies on contributions from generous individuals, corporations, service clubs, and foundations. They do not receive any government funding.

America's VetDogs began as a project of the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind in 2003 and became a separate not-for-profit organization in 2006. The organization was created and incorporated to give disabled veterans of all era’s access to the best services possible to improve their lives.

They provide guide dogs for veterans who are blind; service dogs for those with other physical or emotional disabilities; physical and occupational therapy dogs to work with amputees in military and VA hospitals; and combat stress control dogs to be deployed in theater.

As a United States Army veteran, I wanted to support the vast network of veterans by supporting America’s VetDogs and their special mission – helping disabled veterans of all eras regain their dignity and independence. A service dog can help with daily activities, and takes the focus off a veteran’s disability, giving them the motivation to conquer new challenges and return to the lives they once led. America’s heroes deserve our gratitude and support for the sacrifices they have made for our country.

America’s VetDogs is a fitting choice for our donation for 2014. For each regularly priced box sold of our House Stock line of moulding we will donate 2% of the sale to America’s VetDogs. Please join Nickell Moulding in supporting America’s VetDogs and their mission to serve disabled veterans and active duty personnel.
