Environmentally responsible manufacturing has always been part of our production process. Growing environmental concerns have produced new technologies and manufacturing processes which we've quickly integrated into all of our procedures.

We've taken great strides to minimize the impact of our manufacturing processes on the environment. For example, our closed-loop, solids-based UV coating system eliminates waste that would otherwise end up in the air and water.
We were one of the first companies in the industry to move from traditional solvent-based stains, paints, and clear coats to a water-based system, reducing our VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions to a fraction of what they had been just a few years earlier. We recycle our metal waste, cardboard and paper waste, water based paint waste, and all of our wood waste is turned into wood pellets for fuel.
Our leadership in environmentally responsible manufacturing has been recognized by a variety of local, state, and national organizations. These include the highest award Indiana offers for pollution prevention, "The Governors Award" and the "Administrators 33/50 Program" from the federal EPA.
And we continue to make progress. By carefully integrating new processes, we've made both the workplace and the environment a more friendly place to be.
